The 4th Quarter product makes for an excellent recovery drink, post-workout. It has a solid carbohydrate to protein ratio(2.5:1) to improve muscle recovery and refill the gas tank after strenuous activity. Furthermore, I like that this is not an extremely high protein powder since the research demonstrates 20g of protein is ideal for optimal muscle recovery. I usually recommend athletes who use this product to mix 1 ½ scoops with their beverage of choice. Most importantly, 4th Quarter is 3rd party tested, which reduces the risk of this product containing illegal or banned substances.
